What happens when I submit an online application?
After submitting the online franchise application form, our team will review each application to ensure it meets our criteria. We’ll contact qualified applicants via email with Miniso’s Franchise Deck and a Potential Franchisee Background Form. Upon approval by our committee, we’ll schedule an introductory phone call to discuss any questions and next steps. Please understand that our contact will be contingent upon the outcome of our review process.

This information will be given after an initial franchise inquiry to franchise@miniso.ca. Our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) containing in depth information will also be given once an introductory call has been made

What is the initial investment and net worth requirement?
The initial investment needed to start a Miniso franchise store is $250,800 – $485,500 and requires a net worth of $1,000,000.
Does Miniso offer any training programs and ongoing support for its franchisees?
Miniso offers a mandatory 1-day orientation training program for Franchisee Owners and your store manager. All Store Managers must successfully complete the Initial Training Program, plus an additional management training to be provided by Franchisor. This additional mandatory training program for store managers consists of on-the-job training, classroom training, and online training, depending on the skill and experience of the Store Manager.
Do I need to have a background in retail?
Miniso prefers its investors to have a minimum of 5 years retail experience.

Who is responsible for inventory?
Miniso takes a buyout approach to inventory management in our franchise model. This gives franchisees the autonomy to allocate their inventory while we offer valuable guidance and support, leveraging our sales and inventory data to help franchisees optimize their inventory strategies and ensure alignment with our brand’s goals.
Is financing available?
Miniso does not provide franchisor financing program. Financing is available through a 3rd party.
